Christopher’s Challenge

christopherschallenge.org

Christopher’s Challenge is named in honor of Christopher Costello, a young man from Webster, New York, who was suffering from leukemia, in need of a bone marrow transplant, and found a match, Ed Suslovic.

The Purpose of Christopher’s Challenge is to pay for the typing of samples for individuals willing to become potential donors through Be The Match.

Christopher’s Challenge is also able to assist with patients’ costs not covered by insurance, as well as the many amenities that have been added to the Bone Marrow Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, such as cots, recliners, laptop computers, and DVD players.
