The Senior Living Council (SLC) owns a low-to-moderate income housing complex, Rose Hollow, at 29 Durant Place in the Village of Fairport.
The SLC partners with the Fairport Baptist Homes Community Ministries, Inc. to deliver the services of Senior Options for Independence (SOFI) Care Connection and Transportation programs for seniors.
The SLC also operates a not-for-profit thrift store in Fairport to support these SOFI programs.
The store, located in the Fairport Village Landing, is called Craft Bits & Pieces (CB&P). Three paid managers oversee the store’s operation and its all-volunteers staff. The Donation Station, also located in the Village Landing, accepts donated craft materials of all kinds. Volunteers sort and price the items for resale. (For more information about CB&P, please go to their page.)
